Picnic On The Plaza 2003
Visit Central Terminal on September 20th 2003, to support the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation. Abbreviated tours will be conducted from 2-3:30pm. Afterwards, food and drink, provided by Flying Bison Brewery, Slow Food Buffalo and others, will be available. Refreshments will be sold through $1.00 tickets, proceeds benefiting the restoration of Central Terminal.
In addition tables will be setup inside on the Concourse for local community groups: Eastside Pride, Preservation Coalition of Erie County, Friends of Corpus Christi, Broadway Market, Talking Leaves will be selling local history/architectural books, Fred Jablonski a local historian will have his book for sale, Iron Island Preservation Society and the Central Terminal Restoration Corp. will have information available on our efforts to preserve the building as well as the sale of our tee shirts.
In that same spirit a number of local artists have agreed to exhibit and sell their work that focuses on the Central Terminal.
