Last Sunday, Sara Etten and Mike Miller met with David Williams of Red Scream Productions regarding the premiere of "Prison of the Psychotic Damned", the horror movie that was filmed at the Central Terminal in November of 2005. We're pleased to be able to tell you that the premiere will be held on June 23rd from 6pm to 11pm at the Terminal. Along with two screenings of the movie, the Voo Doo Dollies will be on hand to play a few songs. Food and beverages will be available, with a cash bar by Club Diablo. We will also be selling the DVD, and all proceeds will go to the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation. We're looking forward to working more with David and Red Scream in the future. Talks of sequels are in the works. Stay tuned for more details as they arise!

From Mike Miller, Treasurer...

I'm probably among the relative few who can get excited about a 77 year old drinking fountain, but if you're like me and have an interest in these types of things, then please read on.....

This shiny porcelain drinking fountain once graced an office corridor in the Central Terminal. It's unusual in design, as it has two spigots: one at the base, and another at the top. I'm not sure what the top one would be used for other than probably as a cup refiller.

This artifact was salvaged from the building in the early '90's, when the entire complex was under siege from vandals and thieves. As you can see, it is in remarkable condition. It will be on display in the concourse this season, if you would like to see it in person.

The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation would like to sincerely thank Jim Pelczynski, co-owner of QTA Machining at 401 William Gaiter Pkwy. for years of safekeeping and eventual return of this item. We would also like to encourage others out there who may have items of interest from the building to do the same.
