Information regarding where the Central Terminal Benefit CD, "Bring It Back To Life", will be available soon. 2 associated fundraising concerts will be held in February and March - details to come.
Thanks to all the bands who participated on the Bring It Back To Life CD to benefit the Central Terminal. Special thanks to No Effect, Breakerbox, McCarthyizm, The Feast, and The Filter Kings for their great job performing last night at the CD Release Party. And a big thank you to Greg Wojda for putting the whole thing together!
Inspired by the loathsome condition of the historic yet neglected Buffalo Central Terminal, Greg Wojda, a longtime cog in the local music scene, spearheaded a remarkable charity album in "Bring it Back toLife," a compilation of 16 original bands with net proceeds going toward restoration of the terminal. Tonight marks the release of the album with a fund-raising party at Club Infinity, 8166 Main St., Clarence, featuring performances by contributors the Feast, the Filter Kings, McCarthyizm, Breakerbox and No Effect. Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets are $8 presale, $12 at the door.
2006 Strategic Planning Meeting: Saturday January 21, 2006 starting at 10 am at the Adam Mickiewicz Library and Dramatic Circle, located at 612 Fillmore Ave. (south of Broadway/corner of Paderewski Drive).

Artvoice announces the first-ever Buffalo Flash Fiction Competition. Flash fiction is fiction that says it a flash - 1,000 words or less. For this competition, all stories must be about or contain some reference to the old Buffalo Central Terminal. Future contests will address other sites of interest in Buffalo.
